Learn sewing, quilting and embroidery techniques tailored to your unique sewing profile. Create a technique reference book featuring 13 techniques, including sashiko, buttonholes, needle felting, rulerwork, and more. Course Objective: This two-day course will expose you to a wide variety of techniques and will teach you sewing, quilting, and embroidery techniques. You will build a solid sewing foundation that will help you through a lifetime of sewing. At the end of the Academy, you will have made a Technique Book to use as a reference guide every time you walk into your sewing studio and turn on your BERNINA to sew your next project. Course Requirements: None. This is the best part, the course is open to everyone. Whether you are a seasoned pro, or you?ve never touched a sewing machine, you can attend this course. Now, Leonie West of Australia has designed a system for domestic machines so that we can use rulers, too! No walking foot needed for straight lines, minimal marking for the fancy stuff – this is really fun, easy and time saving!
