WHERE TO BEGIN: Beginning Quilting

In this class we will cover color selection, quilting notions, rotary cutting and quilt construction. A great foundation for making many beautiful quilts .You will learn how to assemble your blocks, add sashing, and borders. Plus you will learn how to finish your quilt with sandwiching, quilting, and binding instructions. Come have fun with us!


Come learn more serger techniques using the basic overlock stitch, how to sew corners, elastic application, and gathering. Plus you will learn rolled edge, flat locking, piping, the use of heavier decorative threads, and much more. We do not discriminate! All models and brands are welcome; however, you must know how to thread your machine.

QUILTING: One Block Wonder using Panels

Remember as a kid plugging your eye up to a kaleidoscope tube and seeing all of the wonderful patterns you could create? In this class you will discover how to create kaleidoscopic watercolor using hexagons. The class consists of 4 major parts: learning how to ?stack? your fabrics and cut your strips and triangles, next the fun of creating the kaleidoscopes, finally designing the quilt around the panel and putting it all together.
