This queen-size quilt, measuring 91" x 107", beautifully showcases the Del Mar collection from Wilmington Batiks in our new 10-month Block-of-the-Month program. Its design centers around an 18" block, which is surrounded by rows of 6" blocks. A simple border separates this arrangement from a second round of 6" blocks, emphasized by the flying geese patterns. The final top and bottom pieced border features striking 8" blocks, harmoniously balanced with three simple outer borders that tie the entire quilt together. The combination of soft blues and earth tones adds a calming, coastal aesthetic to the design. Confident beginners and more advanced quilters will enjoy creating this beautiful quilt. ***All fabric for the front of the quilt is included in the class fee.
