This class is for ages 8 - 17.
PROJECTS
January: Basic Sewing Machine, Tool Safety, Fabric Basket
Learn the basics of threading, cleaning, and the functions of your sewing machine. We will go into some of the basic machine functions and getting comfortable with the use of the machine. Students will also learn general safety around operating the machine as well as the tools that are necessary to be successful sewists, such as rotary cutters, rulers and irons.
We will finish the class by making a fabric basket to use the skills that we went over during the class.
